Salt Lake City Bankruptcy Attorney

Edward J. Stone – Attorney Profile

If you are facing the possibility of bankruptcy, foreclosure or other serious and overwhelming financial situations, you may feel that your options are limited. You may be unsure of what to do and what decision will be best for you right now and in the future. Your choice in your Salt Lake City bankruptcy lawyer will have an immense impact on what you are able to do to get a fresh start and recover financially.

Edward J. Stone is a highly experienced and dedicated bankruptcy lawyer. Mr. Stone was born and raised in Honolulu, attended high school north of Chicago and was an undergraduate at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor where he received his B.A., magna cum laude. He then went on to receive his Masters degree from the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law.

As a private practice attorney, Mr. Stone is licensed to practice law in the State of Utah and the State of Maryland. The Stone Law Firm represents clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings throughout all of Salt Lake City, Ogden and Provo, Utah.

Client-Oriented Service and Dedicated Representation

Attorney Edward J. Stone’s theory of practice is client-oriented. The firm limits the number of clients we have at any given time in order to ensure that each and every client receives the personal attention he or she deserves and should expect. Particularly in the field of bankruptcy law, this is especially important. Each client’s case will be different, and bankruptcy may not be the right answer for everyone.

Although Mr. Stone practices bankruptcy law, he is particularly well-suited in determining whether there are any viable alternatives to bankruptcy. He is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planning accreditation. The CFP accreditation is the highest certification a financial planner can possess and is the equivalent of an accountant obtaining a CPA. As such, he is also well positioned to provide clients with financial planning advice as they emerge from the bankruptcy process.
